Dr. Wayne Clark
Chief Technology Officer
With 30 year's experience developing intense UV sources, AUVS Chief Technology Officer Dr. Wayne Clark is one the nation's leading experts on UV energy for antimicrobial applications.
A Ph.D. in electrical engineering with specialization in controlled nuclear fusion and plasma physics research, Wayne holds 18 patents and has authored more than 25 published technical articles.
His patented Photon Trap Technology is currently protecting the US Pentagon against bio-terrorism and has been put in service at leading medical facilities across the US in the AUVS Germicidal enclosure widely known as "The UV Box".
In addition to serving as Chief Technology Officer for AUVS, he continues in his role as President, CEO of Novatron, Inc.

With 20+ years of experience developing and executing strategic growth plans for high-visibility product expansion programs and multi-million dollar business initiatives, Jim founded Advanced Ultra-Violet Systems, LLC, in direct response to the issues related to cross-contamination that he observed in his work with leading hospitals and healthcare organizations.
Through his research on infection prevention he met and began working with Dr. Wayne Clark. That relationship eventually lead to the founding of AUVS and an ongoing mission to not only bring the company's innovative and proven technology to the healthcare industry but to every organization where cross-contamination and infection prevention are critical concerns.
In his role as President and CEO of AUVS Jim leverages 20+ years experience in leadership roles for companies including Hill-Rom, Curbell, Karl Storz and Trumpf Medical.
Dave's 30+ years experience includes extensive work in both general and medical device marketing through his own agency, MRC Medical Communications. He has served some of the world's leading Medical Device and Healthcare companies as a consultant, marketing strategist, writer, video producer and creative director.
Serving as Vice President of Marketing for AUVS, Dave leverages his diverse experience in Infection Prevention, Surgical and Intensive Care products as well as in general B-2-B and Consumer Marketing covering consumer electronics, security, and software products.
Dave has won more than 70 national and international awards for writing, production and creative excellence. Outside of AUVS, Dave holds or has held board of director positions at for-profit, not-for-profit and sports organizations.
