Overview

AUVS' flagship product, The KR615 Germicidal Enclosure, commonly known as The UV Box, was developed by AUVS' Chief Technology Officer Dr. Wayne Clark. Dr. Clark is one of the United States' foremost experts on germicidal UV. He specifically developed The UV Box to target mobile, handheld devices that are known agents of cross-contamination. 

These devices, including cell phones, masks, tablets, handheld computers/bar code scanners, TV remotes and personal items from eye glasses to car keys, are currently not successfully treated by traditional disinfection processes and other high tech methods due to their frequent use and mobile nature. AUVS' countertop UV Box provides a proven, conveniently-positioned, easy-to-use, frequent method of hand-held device disinfection. 

Using a patented application of germicidal UV-C (254 nm), The UV Box has been independently proven by an FDA consulting lab to disinfect 99.9995% of the most difficult to treat contaminants, including C. diff, MRSA, SARS-Covid-2, and Norovirus, in less than 60 seconds.
